Back pain is one of the most common problems given the rigors of modern lifestyles. Back pain is usually characterized by mild to severe pain in the lower back.

What is back pain?

Back pain is also called backache. It is caused by tension in the muscles and ligaments surrounding the spine, but it can also be caused by structural problems in the bones of the spine. One of the most common causes of absenteeism from work is back pain, also known as Lumbago. This may be due to an injury or medical condition. It can affect people of all ages for a variety of reasons. Most adults are at increased risk of suffering from back pain at work.

Causes of back pain(backache) :

  • A common cause of back pain is damage to the muscles, bones and nerves of the spine.
